I'm an even later convert to this than you Boba! I saw Serenity in the cinema when it was released and loved it but I've never been able to justify spending the money on buying myself Firefly. Luckily my housemate got it for his birthday a few weeks ago so now all our exams are over we're watching our way through. I love it. My favourite line so far is... "They say never hit a man with a closed fist, but it is, on occassion, hilarious" I do find all scenes with Wash in upsetting, due to having seen Serenity. I'm sad that I didn't watch it the right way round.

I miss Firefly :sad: bought the dvd box set last year for £13 and was instantly addicted. Watched the whole series again last week and it just gets better and better with each viewing. Damn you Fox...damn you!

I think that's the biggest tragedy of the whole thing. What the hell was his story?! You pretty much had a handle on the others, why they were there, what they were doing, but him? Such a shame to see him not being fully developed.

I guess Book's story must have been intended to come out in later series or something. It is a shame that it was never elaborated on. Damn Fox.
