Britain's Got Talent
Anyone watching this, when it gets to the voting stage please vote for Andrew Johnson, the 13-yr-old from Carlisle. He sings in the choir I used to sing in, and is fully deserving of winning this - he has a great voice. :D

Sorry, but I'd rather stick pins in my eyes rather than watch stuff like that

That's ok. When it gets to the voting stage, I'll just post the number to text/call to vote for him. :D He's had a shit time for singing in a choir - bullies and the like - and more power to him for putting up with it and carrying on with something he loves, rather than give in and become a sheep.

Sorry, but I'd rather stick pins in my eyes rather than watch stuff like that I used to be the same but this is must see Tv for the comedy value alone. When the con-*test*-('")ants are so sure of themselves, it's hilarious when they fail miserably. The X-Factor is the same, once the auditions are over I can't be bothered watching, but the truly awful performances are funnier than most actual comedy shows. The utter crapness of the man who tried to make the Star Wars theme better by playing it on an electric keyboard, the IT student who slaughtered some hit songs yet wouldn't give up and the contortionist who raised her entire body up and over her head, supported only by her teeth (!), stupidly addictive and very entertaining. Having said that, the choirboy was spellbinding.

I agree 100% with that - the unintentional comedy value is great! I do keep thinking tho, that had this programme been made about 17 years ago, I would have so been up for going on it to sing, seeing as I was in a cathedral choir too. Ahh, lost youth, where didst thou go?

I'm all for the 13 year old boy from Carlisle, a lovely lad with a golden voice. As for the rest of them, and the voting system, well it's all a rip-off from this classic American talent show... If you've seen Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, you'll all know what I mean, but it's a wonder the judges don't have a big gong, they might as well have one, because that's what Britain's Got Talent is, as is alot of shows like this on Saturday night TV.

Sorry, but I'd rather stick pins in my eyes rather than watch stuff like that As Corrosion Of Conformity so eloquently sang...'I'd rather have holes in my eyes...'
