Welcome to my Spanish dinner! None of that tapas nonsense, this is all traditional Spanish fare!
Remember all, its a kiss on each cheek to say hello, go for the left one first then the right. The manly menfolk can just shake hands...
Sit down and help yourselves to a glass of Albariño, first course is a pick and mix of the following:
Empanada (flat fish pie, the filling is tuna, onion and pepper)
Cheese (Manchego, Mahon and Tetilla)
Aceitunas (green olives)
My legendary Spanish omelette (made with potato, onion and egg)
Wetting your appetite? Billie and Ella are belting their hearts out on the stereo, allow me to bring out the main course.
Yes, that is boiled rice. Bear with me... to go with it, choose what you want:
Choricito frito (fried mini chorizo)
Pisto (similar to Ratatouille, but nicer)
Croquetas (ham or egg croquettes)
San Jacobos (cheese sandwiched in boiled ham, breadcrumbed then fried)
All washed down with a refreshing Sangria!
Belts bursting yet? Time for pudding. How about?..
Flan (homemade Creme Caramel, much nicer than its French counterpart)
Chocolate and cream ice cream
Coffee served with pastas (shortcake biscuits)
By now, we are all stuffed and laughing about it.
Before you all go home, please have a mug of Queimada.

A punch made from Galician aguardiente - a spirit distilled from wine and flavoured with herbs or coffee, plus sugar, citrus peel, coffee beans and cinnamon
It is said that those who drink are protected by the good spirits, hope you enjoyed it!
