No, I never noticed the Transformers thingie. :P But, it was a good episode, they did it out at Cinecitta Studios in Rome, where the sets from Rome still stood. But, the bits with the Reverend Mother in her bed kinda reminded of 10,000 BC, with the leader of that civilisation and all. However, with some of the banter with that family, I was expecting this man to come walking on...

For me, Pompeii is never complete without Frankie Howerd as Lurcio. :P Anyways, Catherine Tate gave the funniest line of the episode asking
"Where do you do your shopping, TK Maximus??" 
I know it's a bad pun, but it's an inspired one, considering the setting. Plus, it was good to see Phil Davis in it.
