Rain, rain go away!
Britain in flood crisis - yet again! I know we must have had some good weather between May last year and now, but I genuinely can only remember a few weeks of sunshine. All those homes that were flooded in the summer last year, that didn't have a chance to dry out are flooded again. Worst news is, there's even more to come! The reservoirs are fully topped up now, I can't imagine us having another drought warning or hosepipe ban for the next few years, any chance of a respite? At all? Anyone here savvy enough to give us some hope of sunshine later in the year?

We should all name a date for the next day of unbroken sunshine. Well, no rain anyway. Cloud is ok. I reckon the next day of no rain will be February 3rd... This is backed up with absolutely zero scientific or meteorological evidence...

Hmmm see the little toe on my right foot is sensing that day may have snow. I think maybe March 2nd.

I've already suggested the dry-ice idea, and it could be a bad one... :-|

Half a day so far, no rain here.

Ditto, unsurprisingly. We may have spoken too soon - conveniently. Next time it rains incessantly, we must start a thread like this. Now, of course, I've spoken too soon and it'll piddle down all evening...

Rain stopped here late last night, everything froze, I nearly slipped down the stairs on a footbridge this morning, if it's still like that later, I have a way to thaw it out... ;)
