Aw fuckin' hell Cuch, that's a real blast from the past - haven't listened to that album in ages! What a cracker it is too. I still remember listening to Castles in Spain for the first time - I don't think the new wave movement produced a guitarist as talented as the late great John McGeoch. Magazine, Siouxsie, PiL, Armoury Show - these were bands that defined my youth and Mr McGeoch was front and centre in them all
Can't see that album without thinking of a quote from Mark Lamarr on Buzzcocks - "after the Skids broke up Richard Jobson went on to form The Armoury Show and Stuart Adamson was a Big Country member. And yes, we do remember"
Jesus...I've finally met the other person who bought this album... :D
Fantastic stuff...John McGeoch was a fantastic player...
Not in the same league as the utterly sublime Skids however...
And I love the first few Big Country albums too...
Still,VERY surprised that anyone here recognized that...
Nice one Sharky... :D
After watching the (wrongly maligned) film again

The new Lenny Kravitz single - "I'll be waiting" Love it.>
I'm working my way through all the soundtracks I have from 2007, starting with this one.
