Excellent second novel about William Marshal, by far the grea-*test*-('") Knight of all time. His deathbed scene made me cry on the train.

It's taken me a little while to get into it, but it is a good book. The Leicester biography is interesting, it is a book as much about him and his life as Elizabeth's.

:D I was with Elizabeth Chadwick at the weekend. There's a pic of her, me and Helen Hollick in Here I Am. She's a lovely woman, really friendly and easy to get on with.
