Got this today:
For those of you unfamiliar with Mr Everett, he is perhaps better known as E, singer/songwriter with Eels, a man described by Rolling Stone Magazine as "the Kurt Vonnegut of rock".
Its a book about life lessons he learned growing up with an eccentric scientist for a father (his dad was the originator of the parallel universe theory fact fans!), and how he came to terms with the suicide of his sister and death of his mother. All interspersed with tales of life in the music business, it's looking like one of those books which i'll be returning to again and again. Excellent stuff indeed.
Oh, and Homer, the new Banks is great!
