The tale of two young boys who arn't so completly different as first appearances would lead you to believe, who strike up a friendship at school.
They both come from broken homes but in very different way's, which in turn fuels a wonderous imagination between them.
I just loved this film, the story, the characters, wonderfully acted I can't recommend it enough. Will certainly be a purchase from me in the future..

You know what? You can keep your superheroes, there's only one I need and he's big and red. This film is brilliant, simply fantastic. It has heart, it has action, it has humour and it is simply beautiful.

Roll on the DVD release.
As an aside, I like the fact that the cast names don't appear on any poster at all, just like the first film.
Yellow Submarine (1st view)
I don't think the right words exist to explain this film! :eh?: - 4/5

Prom Night....the remake.
I dont recall the original, but Im sure i watched it as a kid.
The one thing this movie does well is manipulate the audience, and as we all know, thats not a good thing. The main problem with this film is that it never really gets started. It is just cut and pasted together and if it werent for the few moments of suspense, i would be ripping this film up with hatred. The kids, the hotel staff and the police are all really fucking stupid. Excuse my language.... what I want to say is they are all really mother-fucking stupid.
So rent 'Scream' and watch that instead. Trust a Wags, will ya'!
Loved it. My only fault with the film is like the first one the main bad guy isn't up to much. Great additions made are having a bigger role for Abe and the introducing of refreshing new character Johann Krauss. His locker room scene with Hellboy being one of the big highlights along with Abe and Hellboy getting drunk. Overall it is great fun and highly recommended. Shame we got to wait so long for the third one now

Get Smart
Not as funny as I was expecting but still good never the less. Very well cast with Carrell, lovely Anne Hathaway and Dwayne Johnson.

The NeverEnding Story (1984), based on Michael Ende's children's book, and brought vividly to life by Wolfgang Petersen. This fantasy adventure has Bastian (Barret Oliver), who after running away from bullies, comes across a book which tells the story of the beautiful yet doomed land of Fantasia, whose future is in danger from 'The Nothing', and whose princess is unwell. Fantasia's only hope is boy warrior Atreyu (Noah Hathaway), as he travels to save Fantasia, Bastian comes to realise he's more involved in the story than he thought he was!! It's a wonderful piece of fantasy, with some wonderful imagery and brilliant creatures like Falkor the luckdragon and Rockbiter the stone giant. It's also an upsetting film, (the Swamps of Sadness stand out), but Petersen shows an amazing knack for fantasy, (to think this was his follow-up to Das Boot!!), it's a pity he's never tried anything similiar. Oh, and little bits were done in Gastown, Vancouver!! :D 5/5

Cleaner (1st view) – I often wonder (been doing that a lot recently) why some films go straight to DVD when other, far worse, films get massive releases. Fair enough, this film isn’t a masterpiece but it has some big names and a recognisable director (Samuel L. Jackson, Ed Harris, Eva Mendes, Renny Harlin). Jackson plays a former policeman who now owns a cleaning business, and a large part of his job is to clean up crime scenes. After one job he realises he’s being set-up for a crime and asks his cop buddy Harris for help. Nothing brilliant and it’s quite predictable, but no worse than many films that hit the big screen – 3/5
