Screamy- 12-14-2007

Enchanted A little boring for the first 20mins and then it turns into great fun and proves Disney hasn't entirely lost its touch. The Stars are great and you can see Susan Sarandon loving her role as the witch but the main star is the little chipmunk which has raising my anticipation for Alvin and the Chipmunks 8/10

Enchanted - Hilarious piss-take of Disney films in general and Disney princesses in particular. Perfectly cast (Amy Adams already earning nominations), but everyone is upstaged by the chipmunk. Loads of laugh out loud moments, this is truly a family film that everyone can enjoy. The only bad point is that Idina didn't get a song...

Jareth- 12-14-2007

Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium- Neat performances and quirky ideas made a fun film 3/5 Enchanted- Truly magnificent, both very funny and very sweet and full of wonderful songs, this is the return of the Golden Age of Disney 5/5

Cuchulainn- 12-15-2007

Brought Cuch Jnr. to see this today... He loved it...Must admit,it's a lot better than the other DreamWorks 3d films... Seinfeld is...well,Seinfeld...To be honest I didn't recognize the voices of either Renee Zellwegger or Matthew Broderick, but there's some nice cameos from John Goodman and Chris Rock ,plus a few nice in-jokes... 3.5/5

Jareth- 12-15-2007

Alvin and the Chipmunks- Cute, funny and some catchy tunes, amusing fun if nothing special, plus it has David Cross 3/5 We Own the Night- Tense and terrific drama with a fantastic lead turn from Joaquin, plus strong support from Wahlberg, Mendes and Duvall, plus some atmospheric and terrific car chases and shootouts 4/5

Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium. Inoffensively charming but lacking. Lacking pretty much everything including a plot. For a film that's meant to be about magic and belief, it manages to miss the mark a fair bit. Not bad, but by no means good either. 1/5

Bubba- 12-15-2007

Bad Santa - Seriously wrong film on so many levels but I liked it. 3/5

Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium - Crap.

Enchanted. Absolutely brilliant! 4/5

jonson- 12-17-2007

I've managed to fob off Mrs jonson and the kids to see Enchanted tonight. After Stardust and Narnia, I've given up going to the flicks with my lot, every film they want to see is complete cack. :D I watched Transformers again last night (which I enjoyed more than in the cinema - it all seemed to BIG for the cinema screen, you didn't know what to look at) A lot better second time, apart from the silly voices still. Saw Sunshine on Saturday ngiht and it was OK, 3 out of 5 but a stupid ending.

Enchanted is excellent Jonson, but then I loved Stardust and I can admit to being a girl when it suits me to. But ooooh Transformers. I'm debating whether or not to unwrap from the cellophane the DVD I've got my brother for Christmas, just for quality control you understand..

K.B. Flumpet- 12-17-2007

Arsenic and Old Lace - Such a very very funny film, Cary Grant proves that he can be more than just a suave charmer with a brilliant slapstick performance backed up by a wonderful cast, including Jean Adair and Josephine Hull as the very funny murderous little old ladies. They just don't make films like this anymore! 9/10 "Insanity runs in my family.... it practically gallops"

An old favourite. Unfortunately, the 3D didn't really work with this film. All the old 2D angles were still there and I had expected a few 3D friendly reshoots. Shame. Still, it was great to see it again in the cinema since its release. Has it really been fourteen years already? :?
