Enchanted - My second viewing and I liked it more the second time. Everyone seems to be having fun adn for those of us who have to sit through Little Mermaid nd Sleeping Beauty once a week (good films but a little thin on the thirtieth viewing) it was a reference fest. I defie anybody to watch the song 'How Does She Know ?' and not have a cheesy grin on their face. 8/10 I know what you mean. I had a stupid grin all through the film. :D I love Three Burials as well.

Brokeback Mountain (2005), Ang Lee creates a moving and tragic love-story with a distance, based on Annie Proulx's short story, (adapted by Diana Ossana and Larry McMurtry). Starting off in Wyoming 1963, this has young cowboys Ennis Del Mar (the late, great Heath Ledger) and Jack Twist (Jake Gyllenhaal) employed as ranch hands, but whilst isolated in the wilderness, a passionate encounter changes their lives forever, even affecting their family life, which leads to eventually resentment after nearly 20 years. At least a director as daring as Ang Lee has the guts to make a western that tackles a somewhat taboo issue in America, but Ledger and Gyllenhaal are brilliant in the leads, why they didn't win Oscars is anyone's guess... 4/5

Damn, it's a good film. I love this film so much it's ridiculous. When I first saw it, back in 2000, I hadn't seen any of PT Anderson's film, but I knew it had a good cast and had decent reviews. I rented it on VHS, took it home and watched it, went back to Blockbuster to return the rental, buy a brand new VHS copy and then I watched it again. A few months later when I had a DVD player, the 2 disc set was the first DVD I bought.

No Country for Old Men (2007), The Coen Brothers come back down to Earth with this violent modern day Western. This has hunter Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) taking a case full of cash from the aftermath of a drugs-deal gone wrong, big mistake. On his tail is assassin Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem), who intends to get back the case, and behind him is Sheriff Ed Tom Bell (Tommy Lee Jones), who feels he is too old in the face of this new wave of violence. A contender for the Coen's best serious film, it's their most violent one to date, but it has some good performances to it's name, and it deserves every award it's currently winning!! :D 5/5 http://img392.imageshack.us/img392/7348/nocountryforoldmenpostekg9.jpg
