10,000 BC - Normally, having some idiots behind you kicking your chair would make for a bad cinematic experience... I have to thank them for keeping me awake through this piece of crap. For a movie that relies heavily on CGI, it was very poor and frankly embarrasing to watch. The story was non existent, as was the acting. The villians were so pantomimic I was expecting Biggins to pop up at any minute! I'm pretty certain they have mixed up civilisations, eras and evolution for this tale (not too brushed up on this matter so I can't tell for sure).
As for the some of the setting, I couldn't get past that this was very obviously New Zealand, if you squinted, you could almost the Fellowship in the background! which brings me to another point. Geographically, this was impossible to pinpoint.
I certainly didn't expect much from the man responsible for
Independence Day, but this was just taking the mick. One to watch on dvd if at all.
