One word - wow. To be fair, a film based on my favourite Shakespeare play by one of my favourite directors was always going to go down well...!

Have you got the Criterion Edition,Homer? Well worth seeking out if you don't...

Homer- 03-17-2008

Surprisingly enjoyable movie that looked amazing in HD.

Across The Universe (1st view) - Excellent film that follows the lives of six characters in the turbulent 60s, in a story played out via the music of The Beatles. The songs are all already famous, but there's some nice variations of them here, and the allusions to both the songs and the times is satisying. Well-acted and heartfelt, even if it does become plain weird at times - 4/5

The Life and Death of Peter Sellers (2004), an offbeat biopic from Stephen Hopkins, with Geoffrey Rush giving a brilliant performance as Peter Sellers, not to mention the characters he played. It charts the great comedian/actors rise to fame, but he was having trouble with his family-life, and a near-fatal heart attack in 1964 changed his life and personality forever. A very good biopic, with Rush giving a convincing performance as Sellers, only a few historical inaccuracies mar the film, but it has some good support from Charlize Theron as Britt Ekland, John Lithgow as Blake Edwards and Stanley Tucci as Stanley Kubrick... ;) 4/5

I AM LEGEND ....3/5.... Not as fun as 28 Days or Weeks Later. The end kind of bored me....a wasted concept. It was like 30 Days of Night, which i had seen recently. I guess the story needed to be fleshed out, I mean, lets face it, there werent too many characters in the film. Give us more of the story, the flashbacks, what happened to the soldiers? How did Mr. Gettin' Jiggy Wit it, end up all alone ? :-|

SATAN - Was meant to be a creepy and shocking film but I was very disappointed, even my love of Vincent Cassel didn't help it. 2/5

SATAN - Was meant to be a creepy and shocking film but I was very disappointed, even my love of Vincent Cassel didn't help it. 2/5 Oh that sucks. I almost bought that movie last week. Thanks for the heads up, babygirl.

Oh my god Wags (and Bubba)...A good movie called Satan might at least have had a decent pic of the dude on the cover...

Screamy- 03-19-2008

I would not be convinced by a bloke picking his nose on the cover

Aeon- 03-19-2008

Cuchulainn- 03-19-2008

I would not be convinced by a bloke picking his nose on the cover  I don't think Satan picks his nose... And who the hell is Vincent whatever anyway? Oh,Bellucci's bitch... :D

Screamy- 03-19-2008
