Another great horror film but this is claustrophobic with loads of tension. Quite a few scares. My only faults are how long it takes to kick in and the irritating bunch of actors it has. Hopefully this will be improved on in the American remake. 8/10

- Absolutely brilliant horror, I don't think I've jumped so much during a film in years! Pretty basic concept and it does take a while to kick off, but when it does, it does. My only problem with it is a certain lack of logic... close the fucking door! Overall, it achieves what it sets out to do quite brilliantly and I urge you to see it as soon as possible.

Loads of fun, perfect for a Saturday afternoon. 8/10

21 - Very pretty popcorn fun. Mostly well acted, although Bosworth is as wooden as ever and Spacey is apparently now a parody of himself. It manages to make Maths look cool, so it can't be all that bad.

21 It was ok but that had to be expected from a film about card counting. The cast does a good job including the apparently "wooden" Bosworth (she wasn't). The main thing that didnt sit right with the movie was Jim Strugess who while a good actor is not convincing as a MIT nerd or a card player. 6/10

Leatherheads - Rather charming comedy about the early days of professional American football... if you've seen the trailer you will think this is a romantic comedy. It's not, and all the better for it. Worth a watch.

Johnny Guitar (1st view) - Superb western from Nicholas Ray, starring Joan Crawford and Sterling Hayden. Both leads are mesmerising, the story well crafted, the script bristling with energy and the film looks a treat, Hugely enjoyable - 4/5

Leatherheads OK but it is falsely advertised in the trailer as romantic comedy about two bloke fighting over a woman. It's more about the start of professional American Football. 5/10
