A bit slow but I loved it. It has a quick and witty script that is full of funny and snappy dialogue. Farrell and Gleason were very good but Ralph Fiennes stole the movie.
8/10
Frickin scary - and I don't scare easily with films. Pixie was genuinely surprised when I said I turned all the lights on downstairs when I got home.
The end of it, anyway. Not a huge difference from the Grindhouse version, but just a bit more gory, which is always good. :D
Happy-Go-Lucky - The most optimistic Mike Leigh film I have ever seen! An uplifting experience, the protagonist, Poppy, just refuses to accept the shit that life throws upon her and leads an inspirational existence because of it. Truly entertaining and thoroughly recommended.
Flashbacks Of A Fool - I went in not knowing anything about this and I left surprised and satisfied. Craig plays a has-been Hollywood star, tragedy forces him to revisit his adolescence and the events that brought him to his current state. This film won't be to everyone's taste but there are far worse ways of spending a couple of hours.
Not as 'fun' as Planet Terror, but un second viewing I enjoyed it a lot more. Next up, to watch Grindhouse as the single feature again! (Not literally 'next'...!)

I can't wait to see this but I know it won't get shown near me. I love Mike Leigh films.
The Kingdom (1st view) – Decent thriller from Peter Berg. The politics are a bit heavy handed at times and any message it wants to give gets lost come the end, but it’s a thoroughly engaging film all the same. The action set pieces are thrilling, and the cast all perform admirably – 4/5
The Contract (1st view) – John Cusack ands his son get are camping when they find themselves burdened with a hitman, Morgan Freeman, and have to try and hand him over to the authorities. Both leads are fine but there is some truly atrocious acting from the supporting cast and the script seems like it was cobbled together during someone’s lunch break. There are worse ways to pass the time though – 3/5
The Reaping (1st view) - Hilary Swank plays a former minister who now spends her time using science to debunk supposed miracles, leading her to a small town which is suffering from biblical plagues. She’s on good form, and the film isn’t as bad as it’s been made out to be, but the last 20 minutes are pure hokum, and once the CGI locusts arrive, it all goes to pot – 3/5

6/10 for the film 9/10 for Viggo getting naked.
Really enjoyed this and much better than reviews have made out. Only fault with it is it about 20mins too long. Great suspense, well crafted and great performances by everybody in the film.
8/10
Impressive cast Sam shepard,Tim Roth,Eva Marie Saint,Jessica Lange even George Kennedy and Tim Matheson got a look in.
A Wim Wenders film with an interesting story of a washed up actor who flips of the set of his la-*test*-('") film to escape and finds out a few facts of his life that even he didn't know about.
Stunning scenery to boot, I enjoyed it very much 4/5
